Notice of Pesticide Application

Last week, Patrick and I did some honeymoon hiking in Colorado. On a trail near the Chautauqua Institution in Boulder, I was delighted to find this sign. This was one of the first notices of pesticide application I'd seen in a public park or forest. I love that it tells the hiker which invasive species will be targeted, and lists the dates of application. For those who've been granted permission to harvest delicious, edible garlic mustard, this information is vital.

I would love to see this sign left up for much longer than 24 hours after application. Even more useful would be a permanent kiosk and/or webpage listing pesticide/herbicide application dates, locations, and target species over the past 5+ years.
